Frontier Expo 2017 announced

One of the most enjoyable ways for like-minded fans to interact is by going to a convention. Most gamers enjoy flocking to cons like San Diego Comic-Con or PAX, and there are a number of mmo-specific offerings like Blizzcon and EVE Fanfest. Now those ranks are going to be augmented by an Elite: Dangerous convention. Frontier Developments, the developer of Elite: Dangerous and Planet Coaster, have announced Frontier Expo 2017.

Of the Elite: Dangerous convention, Frontier Expo 2017, the developer states, "FX2017 brings together the players and developers of Elite Dangerous and Planet Coaster for a day of gaming and celebration. Frontier Expo will be Frontier’s biggest ever community event and the next step in the studio’s journey as an independent developer and publisher of triple-A videogames. Frontier Expo is Frontier’s key press and community event in 2017, featuring eagerly-anticipated announcements regarding the future of Elite Dangerous, what’s next for Planet Coaster, and an exclusive in-depth look at Frontier’s as-yet unannounced third title in headline stage presentations hosted by Frontier developers."

The Frontier Expo 2017 will be held October 7th at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. I'm sure one big topic of conversation at the Elite: Dangerous convention is how players of the sci-fi sim are able to fully enjoy their game while other mmorpg fans are still out of luck. (cough...Star Citizen...cough) No matter what, it's always great to interact face-to-face with others who share your interests. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, and you can find more information on Frontier Expo 2017 here.
