World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor to premiere at Dreamhack Winter
It comes as no surprise that Blizzard are attending Dreamhack winter. As host to one of the biggest pro-gaming events in the world, and with StarCraft II; Blizzard's very own MMORTS as the headliner, it's virtually their second home. However, Dreamhack Winter is seeing several gaming appearances from Blizzard this year, including Warlords of Draenor; the next expansion in the World of Warcaft series.
World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor was announced at Blizzcon, earlier this month, and promises a new era of darkness in Azeroth, and the Alliances finest hour as they rise to defend the great realm. New, improved graphics, a heightened level cap a host of UI and PvP improvements await, and we were led to believe that there'd be no sign of the the new features until closer to it's predicted launch date of Spring/Summer 2014. Blizzard have announced on the fan forums that the wait will be much shorter than first expected, with a demo version making its way to Sweden in a weeks time.
Blizzard will be showcasing 3 of their upcoming titles at Dreamhack Winter; World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls and, the hugely anticipated, Hearthstone. There has been no mention for whether the MMO-melding MOBA, Heroes of the Storm will be present, but with the other big 3 making an appearance, it's certainly worth keeping your hopes up.
Dreamhack Winter will take place from November 28th to December 1st in Jonkoping, Sweden.
