World of Warcraft offers $60 level boost
One of the big things that many World of Warcraft fans are looking forward to, in the upcoming Warlords of Draenor expansion, is the long awaited level cap increase, allowing players to rise all the way up to level 100.
Back at BliizCon, developers, Blizzard assured that the World of Warcraft community would instantly receive a level 90 boost, free of charge, upon purchase of Warlords of Draenor, to ensure that fans of the mmorpg would instantly be able to play the new content to its fullest potential. The boost was accepted and understood by most, but now that the ability to purchase multiple World of Warcraft level boosts has arisen, the mood has changed somewhat. The level boost will be available in the upcoming patch, prior to the launch of Warlords of Draenor.
In one corner, there are the masses of players who have specifically requested purchasable boosts, and in the other are the "purists" that consider it either cheating or dishonorable to buy their way to the (almost) top. The game's official store currently displays the "Level 90 Character Boost" item, pricing it at $60.
The item has been added as a purchasable item to patch 5.4.7, which is currently available in the Public Test Realms, and set to launch shorty.
