The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot Launches "Loot-O-Thon" Event
The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot (TMQfEL for short) has been hosting a series of Open House events, in which players can take the game for a test drive without having to use beta keys. The second Open House was a massive success, seeing the untimely demise of an absurd amount of virtual chickens.
Today, Ubisoft kicks off the third Open House, with what they're calling the "Loot-O-Thon" event. Instead of killing chickens, players will be asked to collect massive piles of loot. That seems appropriate, considering the game's title, right?
Here's a full description, as well as some details about what you can earn by partaking in the Loot-O-Thon, straight from an official press release: "The first Open House for The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot resulted in more than 71 million gold coins plundered, while the second Open House lead to more than 498 million gold coins plundered. In the third Open House, we’re raising the stakes and challenging players to shatter this record! If players can collectively loot ONE BILLION gold coins from player-created castles, Lord Marleybone, boss of the Glimmering Valley region, giant bone puppeteer and master of the dead, will be unlocked for players. Lord Marleybone reigns fear over all castles in level 20 to 24, and with a lot of plundering and looting, he can be all yours."
The Loot-A-Thon has already started and will go until September 3. The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is otherwise in closed beta.
