Star Wars: The Old Republic Rise of the Hutt Cartel goes live
The first-ever digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, the Rise of the Hutt Cartel, is now making waves worldwide.
The expansion's storyline centers on the latest power play by the cutthroat Hutt Cartel to become the next galactic superpower, drawing the ire of both the Republic and the Empire. Both factions mobilize to stop The Hutt Cartel's dastardly schemes focused on the new explorable planet of Makeb.
Rise of the Hutt Cartel is available to download for $19.99 (£11.99) for free players, or at half price of $9.99 (£5.99) for current Subscribers to the MMORPG.
The new expansion also packs in an impressive amount of new content, including new progression for each player's personal Star Wars saga, a fresh batch of playable missions, extra features and quality-of-life system improvements, and the aforementioned new planet of Makeb.
The level cap has also been raised to 55, which developers said comes paired with new higher-level group content, including the recently released Game Update 2.0: Scum and Villainy.
"As players progress through the new levels they will earn new gear and abilities, along with access to new Elder Game content," said Star Wars: The Old Republic developers. RPG Games fans can also relish the hunt for new constumes and gear such as new high-tech gear like Macrobinoculars and Seeker Droids.
