Star Wars: The Old Republic plots out 2014 plans
"The team that brought you 2013 is still here and working hard to bring you another action packed year."
According to the road-map, the mmo will be seeing three significant updates between now and June, starting with tomorrow's hugely anticipated update 2.6; when the digital expansion, Galactic Starfighter becomes available for free-to-play fans. The interplanetary dogfighting sub-game has been really popular amongst the pay-to-players and the update will also see new stat recording systems, new settings with scenarios and a whole new Galactic Starfighter class; the Bomber class.
The other 2 big updates will feature more additional content, such as new flashpoints, new operations and, again, another Galactic Starfighter role.
Maclean went on to describe some landmarks that couldn't be found on the road map, including more PvP updates and class changes, not to mention another two digital expansions, even hinting at what they may consist of.
"Expect to see two digital expansions in 2014 just like you did last year, with one similar to Galactic Starfighter in scope and one more closely resembling Rise of the Hutt Cartel."
