Rumble Fighter to relaunch as early as May
They say you can't keep a good man down, and we know the same can be said of a good mmorpg. GamesCampus announced that it has taken over Rumble Fighter and will be relaunching the action fighting game "as soon as the end of May."
The Rumble Fighter relaunch comes a big relief for fans who had been so worried when previous publisher OGPlanet decided to terminate the contract and close down the rpg service on May 23. This means fans will just need to wait a few weeks before the transfer process is completed from OGPlanet to GamesCampus. Then they can resume to beat up opponents silly in hand-to-hand combat.
GamesCampus said it will be working with NimoniX, the developer of Rumble Fighter, to speed up the publisher transfer and make it as smooth as possible for players.
"Rumble Fighter is in great hands with GamesCampus," said Kyongwan Kim, CEO of NimoniX. "I have no doubt that GamesCampus's strong experience will be an asset in providing the best in service and satisfaction to our fantastic player base."
The Rumble Fighter account transfer site is already up and running, providing exact details on how veterans can bring over some of their items. A 30-item cap has been imposed, but hey it's better than losing everything, right?
