Mass Effect 3: Citadel expansion out now, watch the launch trailer!
This so-called “final sendoff for Commander Shepard” should offer a sentimental but satisfying single-player ending to the hit rpg series.
Here’s the newly published launch trailer to whet your gaming appetite:
In Mass Effect 3: Citadel, Commander Shepard and his team will have to fend off a determined assassination plot and investigate the organization or individual behind it. This will take players through a number of locales from Citadel’s Wards to the Council of Archives, piecing together pieces of evidence to reveal the sinister masterminds and their motives.
The trailer is brimming with scenes that show the touching camaraderie that is sure to swamp this farewell DLC, and should give fans some closure on some of the storylines and relationships Commander Shepard has figured in throughout the series.
The DLC expansion also brings back squad favorites from across the three Mass Effect games, including the krogan mercenary Urdnot Wrex.
Mass Effect 3 developer BioWare has confirmed that the Citadel DLC will be the last single-player DLC pack for the title. Mass Effect 3 Citadel is available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
MMO-type multiplayer updates though might still be rolled out in the future, following February’s latest multiplayer DLC, Mass Effect 3: Reckoning, which added new characters, weapons and upgrades for the popular multiplayer mode.
