Magic 2014 expansion drops September 18, first preview at PAX Prime
The Magic 2014 expansion takes the card battle MMO to new planes and introduces tough new foes to topple.
There's a lot of content to chew on in this maiden Magic 2014 expansion scheduled to release on September 18. There are five new playable decks, 280 fresh unlockable cards, six additional single-player campaign levels spanning the planes of Ravnica and Kamigawa, and five new fiendishly perplexing puzzle challenges.
Wizards of the Coast also tried to please MMO collector fans with a wealth of new unlockable persona portraits, achievements and trophies.
The developer has not yet announced a price for the expansion.
For those who just can't wait for the expansion to drop, there's an opportunity to preview the game this weekend during the PAX Prime convention to be held from August 30 to September 2 in Seattle, Washington. Previews will be held in the Magic booth #1642.
Sadly, registration for the event is already closed so only those who have secured tickets before this announcement will get an early glimpse Magic 2014's shiny expansion features.
For the rest of the masses, look forward to downloading the loaded expansion for the strategy rpg TCG through the following channels: Xbox LIVE Arcade, PC via Steam, PlayStation Network, iPad, and AndroidTM via Google Play and the Amazon App Store.
