The new Maestia update will raise the level cap to 68, expand the skill tree and add a new PvP mode in the free fantasy MMO.

As the first update for Maestia since launching back in May, also promises to whisk players to an exciting new zone named after the update itself: Palus, The Forgotten Swamp.

“Palus, The Forgotten Swamp is a new Day/Night zone for players to compete. Players will have the opportunity to engage in large-scale battles” and defeat a newly strengthened set of raid bosses, said Gravity Interactive, publisher of this free online rpg.

A new dungeon instance will also be opened that will offer two difficulty modes. Players will need to master their new skills which were especially designed to help them overcome the fresh dungeon content.

The mercenary system, which allows players to enroll themselves as recruitable mercenaries for two hours, now also covers alternate characters. This allows players to control two of their characters for a limited time. Gravity said this was implemented so players can expand the way they want to play in the online rpg.

Lastly, the Skies of Palus update also rolls out the Maestone upgrade system that lets each player upgrade their older Maestone into a more powerful one.
