League of Legends is getting new modes
For most fans of the battle MMO, League of Legends has already provided a lifetime of entertainment; with an ever growing meta-game, regular power shifts and champion rotations and a host of different battle modes to keep you entertained, most already consider the game to be pretty complete. Not Riot Games though; always looking to expand, they have developed a new game mode, scheduled to bring League of Legends mirror match-ups in what they are titling "One For All Mode".
The new mode is coming to League of Legends, following an influx of custom games, which allowed all 5 players to choose the same champion, and pit themselves against 5 of another champion.
Riot have said that the mode is one of many that will be rotated in and out of the game, in order to keep things fresh. Brackhar justified the creative leap from Riot on the fan forums;
"Cycling new modes will let us work with you guys to create new experiences that would have been difficult to do as permanent game features, and it gives us free reign to go mildly crazy"
He revealed that these modes are being designed by a dedicated team and that the first batch of them will be with us before the end of the year.
It's still very much in its early stages, so for now; simply keep and eye on the custom games and the forums, and enjoy the free MMO in its current form while it lasts, as things are surely about to get interesting.
