Icarus Online approaches closed beta
Korean MMORPGS are a sweet science; with titles hitting open and closed betas every day, some launching, some not, but most disappearing into thin air, without so much as a glance at the spotlight. It really is hard to tell, when looking at an upcoming free MMO whether it's going to make it or not. Well, most of the time.
Fortunately, the Icarus Online closed beta, is looking to be much more of a sure shot.
The closed beta is scheduled for launch at the end of the month and has been lovingly built by WeMade Entertainment using the very formidable CryEngine 3. It's already picking up a strong following in South Korea, and will hopefully gather worldwide support; its westernized stylings would definitely suggest so.
Icarus Online's beta has been said to cap out at level 25, which suggests a relatively short closed beta period, and hopefully an open beta is not too far away. The beta will also give access to 5 classes; Assassin, Berserker, Guardian, Priest and Wizard, but the final game is expecting to host many more, with character customization being one of the main attracting features.
You need to act fast if you want to get your hands on this one! Beta applications close on October 20th.
