Heroes of the Storm previews Starcraft and Diablo heroes
The first Heroes of the Storm champions (known as "Heroes" in this particular MOBA) to be announced were five of the Sanctuary's finest from the RPG powerhouse, Diablo.
The first warriors in line for the Nexus are The Witch Doctor, Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Diablo and the hugely anticipated, Archangel of Justice, Tyrael (that's right, Diablo II fans; immortal, Archangel Tyrael, not mortal "Aspect" Tyrael).
On the StarCraft side of things, we can expect to see Abathur, Nova, Sergeant Hammer, Tassadar, Zeratul and, of course, fan favorites, Kerrigan and Raynor.
Heroes of the Storm is going to feature heroes from throughout the Blizzard games spectrum; past and present, meaning your champions will not only collide across different game franchises, for the first time, but also across different generations of each game.
Although the World of Warcraft heroes haven't been officially revealed, Blizzard haven't exactly kept it a secret, and silhouettes and monochrome profiles can be found on the official site. We won't spoil their World of Warcraft Heroes announcement, which is expected at some point over the weekend, but we can confirm that a lot of the major archetypes, for fans of both WoW and their offspring title, Hearthstone will be featured.
