Guild Wars 2's Bazaar of the Four Winds update out July 9
Just one more week before Guild Wars 2 blows out the Bazaar of the Four Winds update.
The Bazaar of the Four Winds update signals ArenaNet's shift to a faster content roll-out pace for Guild Wars 2.
Starting with Bazaar of the Four Winds, the popular mmorpg will receive major releases every two weeks -- an ambitious development speed that should prove compelling to players if ArenaNet makes good on its launch timelines.
Some fans have expressed skepticism about the superfast release schedule, believing that this will water down the quality of content coming out, but line-up for Bazaar of the Four Winds seems to suggest otherwise.
Bazaar of the Four Winds will introduce a new capture-point PvP map, Skyhammer. It will also activate the account achievement award system that offers exclusive armor skins, weapon skins and permanent account bonuses for players who keep on racking up achievement points.
Story fans can participate in three new events -- Belcher's Bluff Mini-game, Sanctum Sprint Race and Lessons from the Sky Scavenger Hunt -- inspired by the windswept theme of the update.
Everyone in the online rpg is invited to the preview livestream on Twitch.tv (www.twitch.tv/guildwars2) on July 8 8:00PM BST, and join ArenaNet developers as they showcase the new features coming in Bazaar of the Four Winds.
