Feast your eyes on the trailer for the new Final Fantasy 11 expansion
This two-minute launch trailer shows off the new Final Fantasy 11 expansion, Seekers of Adoulin, set to be released on March 26, 2013.
Vana’diel adventurers will be able to explore the new primordial continent of Ulbuka, which has until now been closed off from most prying eyes. “What waits those bold enough to tread upon it? Paradise… or prison?” asks Square Enix in the video, suggesting that the new continent holds secret dangers for unwary outsiders.
The latter half of the video is spent revealing the intriguing locales that fans of the MMO should look forward to exploring. The new expansion, while not shown in the video, also introduces two new jobs – the Geomancer and Rune Fencer which further deepens group play dynamics with the former’s elemental energy attacks and the latter’s spell blade combos.
Final Fantasy 11: Seekers of Adoulin will be released on March 26, 2013 and will be launched on servers on March 27, 2013 with the exact time still to be announced. It will be available for digital download via Windows PC for $29.99 or as a physical disc for the Xbox 360 system.
For those looking for a bundle deal, Seekers of Adoulin as well as all previously released expansion and add-on packs will be released as a bundle for $39.99 for the Windows PC (digital download) and Xbox 360. This second option is best for players who need to play catch-up on the expansion and DLC packs for the long-running online rpg.
