Final Fantasy 11 celebrates 11th anniversary with Welcome Back offers
Square Enix has lined up two enticing Welcome Back campaigns as part of Final Fantasy 11 11th anniversary celebrations.
Designed to lure you back to the online rpg, the first of two Welcome Back offers will activate the accounts of all inactive players who have previously subscribed to Final Fantasy 11. The free access is good only until the campaign period ends around two weeks from now on Monday, December 23rd at 6:59 AM PST. After the promotion, players will again need subscription to continue playing.
Only players with an inactive PlayOnline account transferred to the Square Enix Account system will be eligible to avail the Welcome Back activation and two weeks of free play in the MMO.
For its second Welcome Back promo, the game makers are giving away Final Fantasy 11: Ultimate Collection Seekers Edition software for free from until Monday, December 23rd, at 6:59 AM PST. This is meant for veterans who want to get up to speed on the expansions and then avail the free access, or new players who just want to try out the long-running mmorpg.
This all-in-one edition includes all expansions from Rise of the Zilart through the most recent Seekers of Adoulin. But be reminded that this is just free software being provided, so it does not come with a registration code or free game time. The free edition also does not come with the Destrier Beret and Chocobo Shirt items, but even then, it's a great steal if you're looking to start adventuring in Vana'diel fast and free.
Besides, players can still get both limited edition items in the future by purchasing an activation code for the full product after the free trial period expires.
