EverQuest II gives us a behind the scenes peek at Tears of Veeshan
EverQuest II's upcoming expansion, Tears of Veeshan is just around the corner, and to get your mouths watering, Sony Online Entertainment has released a behind the scenes video of the making of EverQuest II: Tears of Veeshan.
The video focuses on showing the development of "High-Pass-Keep" and some of the new content going into the area, such as new NPC's and monsters, revamping a lot of the textures and animations. The detail and architecture in the MMORPG has also been seriously overhauled, bringing it up to speed, possibly even paralleling the quality of the renderings we've seen in EverQuest Next so far.
One of the most significant things the video shows us, is the greatly anticipated, construct-wielding healer class, known as the Channeler, that's coming to the MMO's expansion.
There are 2 versions of the expansion available, the Standard Edition and the Collector's Edition. The Standard Edition is priced at $39.99 and comes with a free Monk Mercenary, "Slymar". The Collector's Edition, which retailed at $89.99 Features Slymar, plus a Darkcrow Etherwing Mount, an Ethernere Enclave Prestige Home and a bunch of other stuff for you to show off. Both editions, when pre-ordered will also come with a Veeshan Loyalty Cloak; proclaiming your allegiance.
Although the Collector's Edition usually retails for $89.99, the EverQuest II team currently have it on sale at $59.99; only $20 more than the Standard Edition.
