End of Nations repeats Alpha testing with enhanced gameplay
End of Nations gets a second Alpha test now with faster combat and a streamlined UI, among other improvements.
The upgrades as End of Nations developer Trion Worlds received critical feedback on the tactical MOBA game.
"Gamers will notice dramatically smaller teams of two to four players, more focused objectives, better balance, more emphasis on commander abilities and four new classes to choose from, which will substantially improve matchmaking and queuing," said Trion Worlds on how the new Alpha build vastly differs from the previous one.
End of Nations executive producer Scot Lane added that the second Alpha test build -- the game had already gone through an initial Alpha and Beta phase – now focuses on the strongest core game elements that appeal to strategy rpg fans such as tactical combat, session-based gameplay and compelling hero units.
Leveling has also been made easier in this latest invite-only Alpha version, which is set to transition into a second Beta run this summer.
Lane thanked MMO fan testers for their role in shaping the game to something that is more fun to play overall.
"We are now confident we have the game the fans have been waiting for: a tremendously powerful tactical game that fans of war games and strategy will love.”
