ELOA Shutting Down for Good for the Second Time

ELOA shutting down again

It's quite rare for an mmorpg to get a second chance at life, but Elite Lord of Alliance (ELOA) was one of those rare games that did. Game&Game picked up the fantasy mmo after Webzen had dropped it last October. That second life was apparently short-lived as news of ELOA shutting down yet again have been officially posted by the publisher.

Game&Game dropped the bombshell of ELOA shutting down in a very short post on the game's news page. The post reads, "This is ELOA Online team. We would like to announce a regret news. The ELOA service in Game&Game will be ended at August 11, 2017. We really appreciate all your great interest until now...We would like to thank for your kind affection and We sincerely apologize for the service closure on such short notice. We are going to prepare better and various games soon. Thank you and We regret any inconvenience this may have caused."

The official time for ELOA shutting down is August 11th at GMT+9, which equates to 9pm ET. That's not a lot of time for those mmo players looking to say goodbye. There's also no word on any type of compensation for players, which you would expect if gamers had recently made some large cash shop purchases. This is definitely very short notice on Elite Lord of Alliance shutting down for the second time in less than a year. I wouldn't hold my breath for a third revival if I was you.
