Watch the gripping Company of Heroes 2 multiplayer trailer below shown during E3 2013:
Dubbed by its developers as having "the ultimate multiplayer warfare experience," Company of Heroes 2 will have three available multiplayer match-up modes: 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4 on top of the standard 1v1 face-off.
The trailer shows the increased intensity of engagements that result with having more generals commanding troops, tanks and other military forces in a single contested warzone.
The video also shows the heightened destruction in multiplayer modes, with whole countrysides and cities torn apart from the ensuing bombardment and crossfire.
Strategy rpg fans will also relish the increased complexity of combat decisions when facing off with two, three or four opponents and coordinating troop movements with allies.
Company of Heroes 2 is the long-awaited sequel to Companyof Heroes released in 2006. It is currently in open beta which will last until June 18. The game will release a week later on June 25 for the PC Windows platform.
