Since its successful KickStarter campaign ended in May, Camelot Unchained has released weekly updates, with this weeks being a particular feast at City State's round table. Designer, Mark Jacobs revealed the first class profile to the MMORPG's Viking Realm; The Helbound.

The Helbound will serve as the healer amongst the viking classes, although Jacobs hints that it'll be a little more complicated than that. There's so much viking pedigree and deep lore to this game, that it's impossible to even speculate, but with a name like "Helbound" I'd hazard to guess some more twisted, Yggdrasillian mythology is on its way.

The solicit on the official site shows off some great concept weapons for the Helbound and divulges some insights into the character customization and how it's affected by the classes dichotomy.

Upon selecting the Helbound class you will be birthed into either the path of life, of the path of death. Judging by the concept material, you won't regret either option.

“Upon choosing a path a weapon will be given you, and this weapon will bond to your very soul."

As your weapon, and seemingly armor, bond with you, they become more and more awesome looking and gain abilities, such as summoning warrior ancestors into battle.

Camelot Unchained has received a staggering amount of support from the MMO community, due to Jacobs promising it to be the spiritual successor of the RPG classic, Dark Age of Camelot; one of the forerunners in multi-player online PvE and RvR combat.

This long awaited sequel is scheduled for release on Steam in winter, 2015.
