Black Gold bound for closed beta on May 15
The peace has been shattered in Black Gold, and players are invited to plunge into the fantasy-slash-steampunk mmorpg's first closed beta test and answer the call to arms of two factions fighting for rule of the continent.
The Black Gold closed beta has been scheduled to start on Thursday, May 15th at 2pm PDT and will last for a still-unspecified duration.
During the closed beta, participants can try out and explore the many unique features in the online rpg, including co-op dungeons, battlegrounds, carrier wars and 100-man energy well battles.

Snail Games assured that the closed beta version is bigger and more polished than the alpha version which selected fans got to tinker with earlier this year.
"The game boasts new rich environments and radically improved user interface. Enjoy a new and improved personal carrier system, and battleground maps and matching systems have also seen some major changes," said the developers.
Who can join in on the closed beta? Participants will be chosen from those who regisetr their account here.
Make sure to click the "Redeem Code" found on the email sent after registration to confirm your key. Once your Black Gold is activated, you will be allowed to download the client, either for the Mac or PC. (Having a download manager is advisable so you can set up the game faster.)
Alpha testers will also get the guaranteed privilege of checking out the closed beta, and hopefully provide more useful feedback to improve the game's features and mechanics.
