World of Tanks exceeds 75 million subscribers
Wargaming seem to be playing a world domination game of their own. World of Tanks, the free-to-play MMO, is the flagship of Wargaming's battalion, alongside World of Warships and World of Warplanes, and it has set a pretty high target for the other two games to chase after.
Wargaming can now boast over 75 million World of Tanks subscribers; currently averaging around 2.5 million new subscribers per month. As if this wasn't enough, the military mmofps has also broken its personal best for most players online at once, which now stands at 1,152,261 strong.
The recent explosion of players can be attributed to its successful gaming tours amongst the conventions and tournaments, their expansion onto Xbox, smartphone and tablet devices, and the launch earlier this year of their comprehensive premium system; allowing you to lump together and gift subscriptions to other players.
However, the World of Tanks team have barely had time to stop and celebrate, due to the launch of a new round of Blitz Tournaments, new tweaks to the Clan Wars map, and the announcement of the World of Tanks New Year's party all launching this week; the gang really have a staked inbox this winter.
Celebrate the launch by signing in at any time between now and January 16th to enjoy all of the game's new features, and keep an eye out for some dramatic price-drops in the in-game store too!
