Competitive gamers looking to showcase their World of Tanks supremacy might want to brush up on their Russian vocabulary. Wargaming has announced that the upcoming World of Tanks Grand Finals will be taking place in Russia in just a few short months. The top twelve teams for the mmo fps will gather in Moscow in May to battle for a prize pool totaling $300,000.

The group stages for the World of Tanks Grand Finals 2017 will be streamed on May 23rd and 24th. The group stages will involve four groups, with each group comprised of three teams. The top two teams from each group will then proceed to the single elimination live event that will be held at the VTB Ice Palace on May 27th and 28th. You can follow all of the action on the game's official Twitch stream, and there will be multiple streams in a variety of languages.

Wargaming is looking to provide a quality experience for attendees of the 2017 World of Tanks Grand Finals. They state, "To make this year’s Grand Finals an even more unforgettable experience for World of Tanks fans, we’re putting on a variety of engaging activities. Here, you can follow your favorite team, learn from the world’s best players and improve your World of Tanks skills so you have more fun."

It is interesting that this is the first time that the mmofps is holding its championship tournament in the country where it originated from. If you ever wanted to see Moscow during the spring and catch some intense eSports action, then now is the time to do so.
