World of Tanks Adds British Artillery

World of Tanks, the World War II-era tank battling MMO from Wargaming, saw Update 8.6 last month, which added some fresh artillery units to keep things spicy. Of course, that won't keep them from already talking about all the good things we can expect from Update 8.7.

Wargaming has just announced that World of Tanks Update 8.7 will be tossing some new British artillery units into the fray.

Here's a description, straight from the official press release: "In Update 8.7, the new branch of British self-propelled guns will take to the field of battle, including a number of iconic and well-known vehicles. Mid-tier entrants include the Sexton, Bishop and the Crusader. The higher-tier entries for the British line will include a number of post-war prototypes, once again granting players the chance to climb into the hatches of some truly powerful vehicles that never saw actual combat. The Conqueror Gun Carriage experimental vehicle will top the new SPG line."

The update also includes the new Belogorsk-19 map, which Wargaming describes as "a chilling and unforgiving Russian winter landscape." Lastly, the T-50-2, a Tier 5 Soviet tank, will be replaced by the MT-25, which we're told is "a visually unique light tank known for his high rate of acceleration and surprisingly powerful gun."

If one thing is certain, it's that Wargaming knows how to keep World of Tanks fans happy with what seems like a never-ending flood of fresh content.
