War Thunder starts second closed beta for Ground Forces expansion
They say there's no rest for the wicked, and we're starting to think that applies to mmo developers as well.
Just take a look at Gaijin Entertainment, who's spending the Christmas holidays conducting the second closed beta for War Thunder's Ground Forces expansion, which will introduce tanks to the aviation fps mmo. This follows the first closed beta held in November.
Testers active in the first round will likely be given priority in this second round, said Gaijin. There's a chance for new players to join for sure, but the only foolproof way to get entry is to purchase one of the early bird advanced packs for the Ground Forces expansion.
If you find bug zapping and crash testing too sordid an ordeal, then Gaijin gives you an alternative distraction: Go have fun in War Thunder's ongoing Winter Magic festivities. Till January 12 you can be a good little pilot and complete tasks to score two premium aircrafts: The heavy Soviet bomber TB-3 and Grumman XF5F.
Cash shop aficionados should also look out for the daily discounts, as well as the tons of gifts being air-dropped on a daily basis. Think of these as your well-earned reward for logging in like clockwork despite the lazy holiday season.
