gamescom 2013: War Thunder to launch with PS4
Gaijin Entertainment dropped the announcement along with the War Thunder Gamescom 2013 PS4 gameplay trailer on the eve of the gamescom 2013 opening.

The trailer gives a gripping preview of what the World War II-set airplane shooter will look like when it is played on the soon-to-launch PS4 console.
gamescom 2013 attendees will even get to try out the War Thunder PS4 playable demo in Hall 7, Booth C10 in the Entertainment area of the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany for the duration of the convention from August 21 to 25.
Gaijin Entertainment said the fps mmo will support cross-platform multiplayer battles, allowing PC and PS4 fans to battle each other.
Other confirmed PS4 features include "improved head-tracking system made possible by PlayStation®Eye camera, and smart and easy options to record, stream and share homemade gameplay videos."
The War Thunder PS4 version will be a free download from the PlayStation Store. Owners of PlayStation®Plus subscription have been assured of some bonus content. But all PS4 owners regardless of subscription will have full access of the complete game, and even obtain exclusive content not found in the PC version.
War Thunder is currently in open beta and can be downloaded on Steam. It is scheduled to go into beta for Mac OS soon. It is also being developed for the Oculus Rift virtual reality system.
