The S.K.I.L.L.- Special Force 2 closed beta is live and serves up a selection of 14 maps and 5 game modes.

Closed beta testers can explore and skirmish in the 14 different maps and 5 game modes, including team deathmatch and blasting. The mmofps title will also feature weapons, equipment items, and customisable characters.

Groups of friends can check out the S.K.I.L.L.- Special Force 2 multiplayer modes which allows for up to 16 players at the same time. Fans should not be surprised though if complex features such as high scores, statistics, achievements and clan features might not be fully activated yet -- or at least not working to their full capacity, as they may still be in the polishing stages.

The first 5,000 newsletter subscribers get guaranteed entry to the closed beta, while the rest will have to take their chances by becoming a Facebook fan to win one of the free-floating beta keys. Eager MMO shooters can also try their luck by registering to the official S.K.I.L.L.- Special Force 2 website, since the developer promised that those who sign up "have the chance to be part of the next wave of keys."

This marks as the first time that publisher Gameforge will be testing S.K.I.L.L.- Special Force 2 to the general public for feedback and debugging.
