Guns and Robots firing off new competitive features this Spring
The free mmofps is looking to heat up its competitive scene by rolling out a new ladder, new arena and a cache of new weapons.
Guns and Robots will be seeing a new ladder which will give players the ability to see and compare their progress from the rest of the pack, according to the development roadmap revealed by developer Masthead Studios. Another arena will also be plugged in to the current roster, providing fresh excitement to the free mmorpg shooter.
On top of the new ladder and arena, Guns and Robots will also be seeing a sizeable addition of new devices, items and weapons. “Some devices will let players setup turrets on the arena and blast their opponents. Other devices will deploy a little nano-robot that self-destructs when an opponent approaches,” said developer Masthead Studios.
The developer expects these new special equipment devices to spice up the map combat in Guns and Robots. Testing is currently ongoing, presumably to get the power balance right when these powerful new toys break into the shooter scene.
"We are very excited about the new items that we are currently finalizing, and appreciate all the constructive feedback that we consistently receive from our dedicated community" said Atanas Atanasov, CEO of Masthead Studios.
More details about the planned Spring content will be revealed in the coming months.
