Firefall open beta will have livestreaming event
Red 5 Studios has confirmed a two-day Firefall Fest livestreaming event to coincide with the July 9 open beta launch.
On July 9 and 10, Firefall developers together with selected guest stars will be hosting the Firefall livestreaming event on Twitch.tv. The full schedule is as follows:
For Tuesday, July 9, the livestream will feature SeaNanners and Tybee @ 10 a.m.-1 p.m. PDT. Then Sevadus and Melonie Mac @ 3 p.m.-6 p.m. PDT later on the same day.
For Wednesday, July 10, look forward to commentary and coverage from GameBreaker.tv and MANvsGAME @ 10 a.m.-1 p.m. PDT. Finally Day and SirScoots wrap up the last leg of the livestream @ 3 p.m.-6 p.m. PDT.
On top of the livestreaming activities, Red 5 Studios has also released the official trailer for Blackwater Anomaly, which is the newest instance set to hit the Firefall open beta, and will be available for preview among testers. Blackwater Anomaly also represents the first story-based episode for the upcoming mmofps, and it provides crucial hints for the main mmo storyline.

Firefall fans who want to get guaranteed beta access can still purchase Founder’s Packs until July 8 after which they will be retired, according to developers. Everyone else is free to register for open beta access at the official Firefall website.
