gamescom 2013: Blacklight Retribution PS4 version to be unveiled
Zombie Studios said it will be revealing the Blacklight Retribution PlayStation 4 version during the convention.
The unveiling is meant to get European fans excited about Blacklight Retribution, as this will be the first time that the continent will be able to see what the fps mmo looks like and plays on the next-gen console.
Stateside fans already got their taste of the Playstation 4 version when it was showcased back in June's E3 convention:
Players can visit the Sony booth in Hall 7.1 in the Entertainment Area of the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany from August 21 to 25 to experience the intense action of Blacklight Retribution hands-on.
Zombie Studios have also confirmed already that all PlayStation 4 users will be able to download and play Blacklight Retribution without a PlayStation Plus subscription.
“After acquiring the global console license earlier this Spring we are thrilled to reveal our work on PS4, and we know that fans of the franchise and newcomers alike will love it as much as we do," said Studio Director Jared Gerritzen from Zombie Studios.
Blacklight Retribution is already available to download and play on the PC platform, and has been receiving steady updates since its mmo release, including the recent launch of a new Dropzone map and a level 50 cap raise.
