Satellite Reign showcases in high definition
The latest, early gaming content footage for Satellite Reign has been showing of a promising high definition future for the mmorts. The developers at 5 Lives Studios have been toying around with the settings and are hoping to get their mmo out, graphically stunning, and in glorious, high definition.
Satellite Reign was the victor of a very successful Kickstarter Campaign last summer; decimating its target pledge total by accruing 132% of its goal, smashing it through three of its bonus, stretch targets.
The team have hit the ground running, and have been hard at work getting gameplay together, and seemingly are already venturing into optimization. A new pre-alpha video has emerged, showing some of the potential within the mmo, but 5 Lives Studios want to stress that they still have a lot of ideas in the pipeline.
"The video was originally meant to demonstrate the agents' coats reacting to wind from the cars zooming by, but before we knew it we were showing crowds of civilians, CCTV cameras, cover usage, x ray camera mode and even a couple of enemies," divulged Mike Diskett, Programmer for the Brisbane-based studio, when presenting the high definition Satellite Reign footage.
"It's very much a pre-alpha build being demoed, nothing here is really final, the UI, audio, weapons and effects are all placeholders, in fact it’s so early we weren't going to show any combat or civilians, but..."
