Pantheon prepares for life after KickStarter
Here at mmo-play.com we've been following the Progress of Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen since its conception. From the moment Brad McQuaid hinted that he was working on a "sekret" mmo, to the KickStarter announcement, and through every announcement that Visionary Realms Inc have made; we, like many, have been stood on the sidelines cheering them on.
Sadly, with only 5 days to go, the Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen KickStarter has only amassed half of it's target pledge fund, and is on a trajectory to finish unsuccessfully.
In a new update, Visionary Realms Inc has addressed both scenarios, as the prospective mmorpg approaches its first, of many, milestones.
"Whether the KickStarter funds or not by Saturday, the plan remains the same: we will be continuing crowdfunding through our own website." Ben de la Durantaye, Director of Communications told their nation of backers, which now stands at almost 3,000 strong.
"From the official game site you'll be able to pledge, much like you have been on KickStarter, but with less percentage taken off due to fees deducted by Amazon and KickStarter. So this means more of your money goes directly into the development of the game."
The gang have planned similar reward tiers for the website, and have a long future planned out for the fantasy mmo, so keep those pledges coming!
