Pantheon introduces the Enchanter
To entice more players into the mystical world of the upcoming mmorpg, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, the Kickstarter campaign has shed some light on The Enchanter class.
"Everything you know about them, everything you ever hated about them, it is all wiped away as you are dazzled by their uncanny charm. Their will becomes your own and you will gladly die for them. When you see one, if you still control your own mind, then heed my advice…..run. Run as far away as you can and don’t look back!”
The Enchanter was somewhat of an underdog during Brad McQuaid's previous venture in EverQuest, and, since a big theme in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen seems to be righting/perfecting his previous efforts, attention has turned to the overshadowed Utility role.
Seemingly, the class is undergoing a big overhaul and Pantheon's Enchanter is now being considered as 'the master of crowd control' in the crowdfunded mmo.
Judging by the description on the official Pantheon Kickstarter page, the Enchanter is adept in buffing, crowd controlling and even enemy controlling and will be a key tool in any team's arsenal, particularly if they plan on going on long dungeon crawls or engaging in big boss battles. Supports will be happy to see the role returning; let's hope it gets the attention it deserves this time around.
