Overview

Conquer your enemies with brutal military firepower in War Commander, the rts browser game developed by Kixeye. Take on the role of a  military commander in a near-future world where might truly makes right. Players strive to create an empire based upon military might by fighting both against AI and other players.

As play begins in War Commander, the player starts with a small base. In order to survive and conquer, the player will need to greatly expand their base and upgrade the various structures constructed. As is typical in real time strategy games, the player will have to use resources to build and upgrade buildings. The greater the level of the building, the more capabilities of that structure are unlocked. Building and upgrading take time to complete, but the player can spend money in the game's shop to hurry the process along. The heart and soul of the player's base is the Command Center. The level of the Command Center dictates the buildings you can construct as well as their maximum upgrade level, so it would behoove players to upgrade the Command Center as often as they can.

Conflict is everywhere in this rts game and you'll have lots of options on how you'll wish to destroy your enemies. Players can create many different unit types to further their goals of conquest in War Commander. Military units include different types of infantry, aircraft, missiles, vehicles, and turrets. Each unit has their own unique capabilities and functions. For example, the mortar teams (infantry) are great for attacking vehicles. The raptor (aircraft) is used for strafing ground units whilst the warhawk (aircraft) causes extra damage to buildings. Each military unit can be upgraded to a higher level, which results in better health, range, and damage. Players can also throw in some wild cards by using Tactical Special Ops. These are tactical advantages that can vary from increased looting, greater movement speed, or increased resource production.

Players can gather resources and also gain them by looting enemies. Completing quests is also a great way to earn additional resources in War Commander. Players can ease their way into the game without worrying about being attacked right away by more experienced players. This free browser game gives new players a week long immunity from attack so they can learn the ropes and build up their base and military forces. This rts is playable on your favorite browser and also on Facebook, enabling you to gloat to your friends as your forces roll over your enemies.
