There are 4 Shadow Era card rarities: common (white), uncommon (green), rare (blue) and epic (purple). This system to differentiate usable items is commonly used not only in TCGs but also in MMORPG games and it’s well known by most players. Shadow Era cards are also categorized based on their effects. Ally cards summon minions that are used as units, each one has 2 stats (HP, damage attack) and a special ability. Hero abilities are class restricted spells. There are also equipment cards such as weapons or armors. The hero is one of the most important cards because the entire deck is built around it, allies and items cards depend on the hero.
