You can now download the Drakensang Mac beta client
Fans will be pleased to know that the Drakensang Mac beta client is now available to download at the action rpg's official website. The beta client for Apple OS X also supports easy Facebook registration for those who want to skip a few minutes filling up the sign-up form.
“Our aim is to provide everybody easy access to Drakensang Online regardless of the operating system they use. We are very happy to invite Mac users everywhere to join our large community," says Jürgen Frerichs, Associate Producer of Drakensang Online.
The Drakensang Mac beta release comes after several months of closed beta testing and tinkering, and this version is assured to run very smoothly already. With the Drakensang Online milestone, all Bigpoint mmorpg games are now playable on Mac.
To run the browser mmo, you will need the Drakensang Online relevant Mac client version, OS X v10.7 (Lion) or a newer version is required, plus 2 GB memory or at least an Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphic card. The free update to OS X 10.9.1 (OS X Mavericks) is available at the official Apple website, reminds developers.
Attracting 700,000 users every month, Drakensang Online should be able to add a few more to that number given its expanded platform playability.
