Anno Online Revamps Shipyards and Treasure Hunt Features

Anno Online Gets New Content

Anno Online, the medieval world-building browser game from Ubisoft Blue Byte, is getting even better, with a bit of new content and some quality-of-life improvements.

First off is the overhauled shipyard, which you will unlock once you reach 900 vassals. This overhaul was described in an official press release: "Discover various improvements of the ships itself, see trade ships traveling faster, use the enlarged cargo capacity of the transport fleet (for medium and large ships only) and find new exciting treasures with the expanded treasure hunt feature."

So what exactly is new about the treasure hunts? The press release goes on: "The fleet has been enlarged. Next to the treasure hunter who had been introduced during Easter event, there will be three new treasure hunters available to hunt and, of course, find enormous treasures. Users will find many different goods like tools and beer but also meat or brocade robes, ship parts, improved sails etc."

Additionally, the tutorial system has been overhauled and quest orders have been rearranged to make the learning curve feel more natural and to help new players better understand all the complex systems in Anno Online.

Anno Online is free to play; all it requires is a web browser and a Uplay account.
